Why Should I choose a Short Throw or Ultra Short Throw Projector solution? 'Think WorkSafe - Think Ultra Short Throw
No blinding light even when standing in front of the Interactive Whiteboard/screen. With many ceiling mounted projectors which project from a distance, the light shines into the teachers/presenter's eyes making it difficult to look back when standing in front of the screen. With the Short Throw and Ultra Short Throw Projectors, the light from the projector passes overhead if fixed to the top of the Interactive Whiteboard/screen using a mounting arm or to the ceiling using a ceiling mount. Looking back and talking to students/employees is much easier without being blinded by light from the projector. Less self-induced shadows. With many ceiling mounted projectors which project from a distance, the presenter's shadow is often cast when standing in front of the Interactive Whiteboard/screen. The new KAV Wall Mounting Frame is currently designed to suit the Promethean 78" ActivBoard with a Short Throw or Ultra Short Throw Projector. The KAV Wall Mounting Frame can be custom designed to suit a variety of Interactive Whiteboards, short throw and ultra short throw projectors upon request. This frame will suit most popular short throw or ultra short throw projectors which include the Epson EMP410W, Sanyo PLCWXL46 and Sanyo PLCXL50.
The KAV Wall Mounting Frame provides both the installer and the end user a variety of benefits which include:
- Minimal time for installation
- Minimal tools required for installation
- Integrated cabling feature for projector, wall plate and wall controllers
- 4 x outlet power board which will power the Interactive Whiteboard, projector, audio speakers & laptop (in most cases an electrician is not required)
- Ability to be relocatable

NEW KAV Wall Mounting Frame
The KAV Wall Mounting Frame is a systems solution which incorporates the Interactive Whiteboard, Short Throw or Ultra Short Throw Projector, Audio Speakers, cabling and power into a consolidated uniform location.In most cases it will eliminate the need for an electrician as the built in 4 x power board can often be tapped in to an existing local power point (GPO). The added benefits such as the ability to be easily removed and relocated make this the ideal solution. This frame is now also available with the DIY IWB Kits.
